Today we are excited to announce that Netskope has once again been named a Leader in the Gartner® Magic Quadrant™ for Security Service Edge (SSE). This is the third time in a row Netskope has been recognized as a Leader—and we have been recognized as a Leader every time since the inaugural Magic Quadrant for SSE. We’ve also placed highest in vision and furthest in ability to execute for the second time in a row.
Netskope’s vision since Day 1 was to build one of the most positively impactful companies ever in the cybersecurity and networking space—and to do it the right way. We do it with a culture of openness, collaboration, and innovation, and a true belief that what matters is helping fight the cyber-criminals and attackers that cause pain and loss across the world and across industries. We help enable companies across the world to stay safe while digitally transforming and unleashing innovation and increased productivity. For our team members and myself, this is what drives us.
SSE describes the set of security capabilities critical for success in building a SASE architecture, and Netskope has been an innovator in this market since long before it was described by any of these terms. Our goal remains to provide a single, integrated solution that, as the market evolves toward a cloud- and AI-centric future, can accommodate new capabilities in an elegant platform architecture rather than mash together a bunch of disparate parts in an attempt to make a “platform.”
We achieve that by delivering what we now call Netskope One. Netskope One is a truly converged and integrated platform that uses zero trust principles and AI to govern access, protect data, stop threats, and enable secure work-from-anywhere connectivity using Netskope’s ground-up integrated and converged modules, including Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB), Secure Web Gateway (SWG), ZTNA, Remote Browser Isolation (RBI), Cloud Firewall, SSPM and Digital Experience Management (DEM). AI and machine learning (AI/ML) innovations have been present in our capabilities since the beginning of Netskope, and today, our wide and deep range of SkopeAI capabilities are also recognized as industry best.
Along the way, we also determined that security couldn’t thrive at the expense of network performance, especially as hybrid work and access to cloud and SaaS applications became synonymous with normal, productive business operations. That’s why, with NewEdge, we built the industry’s biggest and highest performing security private cloud. Further, we saw that legacy network connectivity technologies such as MPLS and legacy SD-WAN also weren’t going to be up to the task of preserving performance for a remote-centric workforce. So we added Borderless SD-WAN, which today is another of our fast-growing product and service segments.
This total combination is Netskope One, which enables security and infrastructure and operations (I&O) teams to reduce risk, lower cost, eliminate complexity, and use zero trust principles to protect data everywhere it moves, including cloud, SaaS, private applications, and web. We also offer our customers flexibility and choice in their broader technology ecosystem, working with best-of-the-best providers in identity and access management, XDR, and other domains that complement SASE.
We are thankful to our customers, partners, team members, and their families—all of whom have been with us on our journey of innovation every step of the way. We are deeply proud of our team, because as a fast-growing company, you’re either executing excellently and relentlessly, or you’re not—and we definitely are. And we are of course honored that Netskope and our capabilities have been recognized as market leading by all of the major technology analyst firms.
