Netskope is proud to participate in Vision 2045: an initiative aimed to raise awareness on private industry’s role in sustainability. In this video, Netskope experts examine how cybersecurity and data protection are intrinsically linked to sustainability. We invite you to watch and to learn more about how data security is paramount to a more sustainable future.
Netskope is proud to be awarded another silver medal, scoring in the top 85th percentile of more than 130,000 companies analyzed by the largest ESG rating agency, EcoVadis. This scoring criteria is based on performance in environmental, labor & human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement.
We recognize that behind every threat, there’s an impacted community. Being ready for anything means we can work together to protect data, embrace inclusivity, celebrate diversity and make a positive impact on our environment. As we work on these initiatives together, we can also achieve a more sustainable and socially responsible community.
Outreach into our communities around the globe is a core aspect of Netskope’s culture. The Netskope for Good program is dedicated to giving back to the communities where we work and live.
We view these initiatives as inextricable from company culture, and commit to demonstrable progress.
Netskope views sustainability as not only how we interact with and enhance the environment around us, but also as core to our ability to best support our stakeholders.
Netskope is committed to compliance with relevant environmental legislation, regulations, and other requirements to meet customer and community needs and expectations. We promote environmental and sustainability best practices, and run recurring improvement checks of our environmental management systems. Whenever possible, we use well known, reliable, and best-in-class data center hosting providers who are LEED certified for green data center standards.
Having developed an internal environmental policy with ambitious targets, employee training and an environmental management handbook, environmental sustainability is something we will continue to prioritize. These goals also support our long-term vision for continuous innovation, growth and efficiency, in being a steward of the resources we have, and the community around us.
We are committed to recruit and develop diverse businesses and provide access to opportunities for those that are majority owned as small businesses, woman-owned businesses, minority-owned businesses, veteran-owned businesses, service-disabled veteran-owned businesses, and businesses in historically underutilized business (HUB) zones. Our supplier questionnaire and code of conduct guide us to work with our suppliers to have mutual goals toward furthering diversity, equality, and inclusion, as well as sustainability. We view our relationship with our suppliers as a partnership, and welcome conversations around mutual goals to support these initiatives.
Netskope’s approach to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DE&I) initiatives foster inclusivity and collaboration in the workplace by embracing differences in gender, ethnicity, beliefs, ability, and identity.
We welcome and respect every voice. This openness creates an environment that attracts the best talent and encourages innovation in pursuit of our mission. Our commitment goes beyond words; decisions and actions are what brings these values to life. We actively seek diverse perspectives, promote equal opportunities, and support growth of individuals within our organization.
We prioritize programs that underscore the health of our employees and their deep willingness to give back to our communities.
In 2021, we began Global Wellness Days, company-wide paid days off on a quarterly basis for Netskope employees to take a pause from work and use time to focus on personal or community wellness.
We continue to support events such as The J.P. Morgan Corporate Challenge, the world’s largest corporate running event. Each year, a beneficiary is chosen and a portion of proceeds go to the charity. Netskope has participated in this challenge every year since 2013, starting with a group of 9 runners, and this year, featuring more than 100 runners.
We also prioritize workforce development initiatives in partnership with organizations such as the Security Advisor Alliance and Deakin University.
We have helped numerous charities throughout our history, and as part of our approach, we started an ongoing fundraiser within the company to help the many people around the world affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. Other international programs include our support for the Starlight Foundation’s Meeting for Good and Family Giving Tree Holiday Wish Drive. We are also active in organizations and initiatives that encourage mental health preservation and burnout prevention, especially in high-stress sectors such as IT security, and among communities of CIOs, CISOs, and Network & Infrastructure leaders.
